Elizabeth and Katy
Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actress, and TV personality that gained notoriety during the 90s, when she was the girlfriend of Hugh Grant. In the 1990s, when Grant became the focus of media attention because of his global box-office success in Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in a plunged black Versace gown held together by the gold safety pins. The actress gained immediate media exposure. Hurley's relationship with Estee Lauder, a cosmetics producer, is regarded as a defining moment in her professional career. Hurley got the first model contract she was offered at age of 29, and has been using her to model Estee Lader's cosmetics from 1995. The most famous of her roles is her character, Vanessa Kensington, in the popular spy-films International Man of Mystery (2007) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (2000). Hurley is a model and designer for his own collection of beachwear. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's early attempts to become an international star failed. Perry has been signed by 2 record companies, but dropped before releasing any of her material. Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. Ur So Gay's title track was a jolly and sly song that attracted minimal interest. I kissed a Girl, a confident tribute to her fascination with sexuality set against a hard-edged electronic-pop beat, gained a greater impact a few months later. I Kissed a Girl was an immediate hit, however it quickly sparked controversies. Some critics claimed that the song was a promotion of sexual relations between men and women, and others felt that the story that depicted in it appealed more to male fantasies. Nevertheless the combination of titillation and polished melodicism helped I Kissed a Girl become a number one hit in a variety of countries and drove the sales of her album One of the Boys (2008). The album's song, the second Hot N Cold also proving to be a hit, the album the songs Perry created herself ultimately registered sales of more than three million copies in the United States.
